MY STORY

Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, I realized at an early age that I needed more support than my peers. I sought treatment when I was 20 years old and quickly found my passion for helping others change and grow in the ways I was able to. I have spent years learning, experiencing, and growing in ways I never thought were possible. I know, without a doubt, that I would not be where I am today if it hadn't been for those guiding and supporting me along the way.

Sometimes all it takes is for one other person to believe in you to unlock the potential that already lies within you.

In my work, I utilize a positive psychology approach, encouraging clients to focus on building their innate strengths while simultaneously building more adaptive coping strategies to improve their quality of life. I strive to empower others to take more initiative in their lives and to cultivate a stronger sense of self. I use my personal and professional experiences to foster a caring and genuine therapeutic relationship, where my clients feel comfortable, respected, and heard.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family on the east coast, adventuring with friends, or going on hikes with my dog, Huck L. Berry.
